It's time to relax, gather your fibers around, and sit by the fireplace with cider or a mug of hot tea.  To get in the knitting or crocheting mood, first, a little fashion warm-up...

Fall Sweater Nostalgia

While I was in at the International Quilt Show in Houston, I found lovely yarn and embroidery thread made by Tilli Tomas. It is silk and feels so wonderful in my hands.  Some of it is loaded with beads and sequins.

I'm going to make a very cool and easy-to-knit (or crochet) "wrap" they featured in the exhibit. It's kind of like a shawl and cardigan sweater combined.  The pattern is available at Stitch Diva and it's called the Endless Knitted Cardi Shawl.

But before I do that, I'm starting my Halloween Mask and participating in Stitch Diva's Masquerade Give Away!  Knit one, purl one 'til Halloween!
